Choose the entrance and the hours

Use the address on the park page, then check the official source for closures. West Orange has different addresses on the dog-park and general-park pages; our directions use the dog-park address. Most county listings use seasonal closing times, while Lake Druid closes relative to sunset.

Bring the basics

Pack a leash, drinking water, a bowl and cleanup bags. County rules require owners to have a leash, clean up after their dogs, and display current licenses and tags. Food is not allowed inside county dog enclosures. Read the complete rules for your chosen location.

Pause at the gate

Check the posted size rules and watch the dogs already playing. Keep your dog leashed when entering and exiting as required by the county. Do not open both gates at the same time. Choose another time if the enclosure does not feel suitable for your dog.

Stay involved

County rules require owners to remain in the enclosure within sight and voice range, and to remove a dog at the first sign of aggression. A short, comfortable first visit is enough. Record the date and anything useful you notice so the next owner can plan a better trip.

Sources & how we choose

We use Orange County’s dog-park rules and directory, its 2024 dog-park amenities overview, and the official pages linked from the parks below. Recommendations reflect the documented amenities, not invented visits or review scores.
